Product Applications
In acid copper plating process: It serves as an effective brightener and leveler, producing fully bright coatings with excellent leveling and good toughness over a wide temperature range.
In copper plating formulations: It is often used in combination with additives such as N and SPS/Sp to significantly broaden the bright current density range of the coating, thereby achieving optimal leveling and brightening effects.
Concentration control in the plating bath: If the concentration is too low, brightness and leveling will decrease; if too high, the coating may exhibit defects such as matte/sandy or orange peel appearance.
In the rubber industry:
As an efficient, non-staining "secondary antioxidant," it effectively prevents rubber aging caused by oxygen, heat, and mechanical stress. It offers exceptional protection against copper corrosion, making it highly suitable for rubber products such as copper-containing cables.
It does not easily discolor under sunlight, making it ideal for producing white, transparent, and brightly colored rubber goods, including footwear materials, wires and cables, conveyor belts, and latex foam products.
